Addressing the multiple identities that people have, Jacqueline Peeters adopts titles of works by renowned artists: La Mula^tresse (after Matisse), Waiting woman (after George Minne) or Anglaise (after Courbet). A recent series of paintings, Lenders Leihgeber Pre^teurs, contains long lists of names of art collectors.
